Do you ever stop and have a real conversation with a child? Try it. Ithink you will be amazed at what they have to say.........and it's very entertaining. 
Many people talk to kids but don't really take the time to listen to what they have to say. So sad. I have learned so much about kids just by listening to what they have to say.

Yes, Jane Ellen. I agree wholeheartedly with your feelings about the value of just sitting with a child and talking and listening. We all want to be heard and that desire starts with the gurgles of an infant.
I wrote a blogg on my friend JJ. He is six and my neighbor. I believe if you listen to anyone you will always learn.
